Privacy
OddsFox collects as little as a website can. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to fill in, and nothing that follows you.
What this site does not do
- No accounts, no logins, no forms.
- No cookies of any kind, so there is no cookie banner to click.
- No advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party trackers, and nothing stored on or read from your device.
- No third-party fonts or embeds. The only script beyond our own is the page-view counter described below, and it is served from this domain rather than from someone else’s.
- Nothing is sold, shared or handed to a data broker, because nothing is collected.
What is processed anyway
- Request metadata. Our hosting providers see the usual details of an HTTP request — IP address, user agent, the page requested, the time — because a server cannot deliver a page without them. We do not build profiles from it.
- Page views. We count page views, so that we can tell which pages are worth keeping. A recorded view carries the time, the page address and its route pattern, the site you arrived from, filtered query parameters, an approximate location (country, region, city), your browser, operating system and device type, and the version of the counting script. No cookie is set and nothing is written to your device. Instead, in our provider’s own words, “end users are identified by a hash created from the incoming request”, and “the lifespan of a visitor session is not stored permanently, it is automatically discarded after 24 hours” — so there is no identifier that can recognise you tomorrow, here or anywhere else.
- A rate-limit counter. Our API keeps a count in memory, keyed by the caller’s IP address, so that no single caller can overload it. The count is discarded at the end of each 60-second window, it is never written to disk or to a database, and it disappears when the service restarts.
- Error reports. When something breaks, a diagnostic report goes to our error-tracking provider. It is configured not to attach personal data: no IP address and no request body.
Who processes it for us
Four providers operate infrastructure on our behalf: Vercel (serves this website and counts page views for us), Railway (runs our API and data pipeline), Supabase (hosts our database) and Sentry (receives error reports). Each sees only what its role requires, and none receives anything about you beyond the request metadata above.
If this changes
This page is rewritten before anything new ships, and it is rewritten in the same change rather than afterwards: the counter above and the wording you are reading are switched on by one setting, so this page cannot describe less than what runs. Any further measurement would be named here in the same way — and a tool that needed a cookie or wanted to store something on your device would be refused rather than disclosed.
